Matron of Honor

If I’m being honest with myself, being my younger sister can’t possibly be easy. However, Kelli has made it seem so simple over the years. With a creative and warm spirit, she has been my cheerleader, supporter, and inspiration. With an awesome yet slightly “different” sense of humor, she has been my comic relief and consort in countless shenanigans. With an introverted and introspective soul, she has been my confidant, devil’s advocate, and voice of reason. Kelli has been both my twin and my polar opposite over the years, but most importantly, a critical influence on who I am today.

Once Patrick and I started planning the wedding, I knew without a doubt who my Matron of Honor would be. Not just because she’s my sister, but because despite a double-digit age difference, she embodies the characteristics of the woman, wife, and friend that I aspire to be. Perhaps I’m getting too sappy here (who’s chopping onions?), so suffice it to say that I think Kelli is one heck of a gal and I’m ecstatic that she will be next me as I marry the love of my life on June 9, 2019.
